{"id":6885,"date":"2021-02-25T16:01:34","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T15:01:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/?p=6885"},"modified":"2021-02-25T12:06:29","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T11:06:29","slug":"how-to-grow-a-beard","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/en\/how-to-grow-a-beard\/","title":{"rendered":"How to grow a beard"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Over the last years, an increasing number of customers, particularly the young, has come to our salon asking for tips on how to grow a beard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">What on the surface might appear pretty easy, reveals itself as something to not underestimate if we aim at a successful result.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Especially those who intend to grow a beard for the first time have to be aware of what to expect to overcome the first difficulties without getting discouraged and to avoid a frustrating failure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>First of all let\u2019s admit an uncomfortable truth: a long beard is not for everyone, for instance it is strongly discouraged in men having face areas with no hairs. <\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Then we need to consider that growing a beard requires to be very patient, since the beard has to grow for 2 to 3 weeks before we can start shaping it as we like.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Therefore, growing a beard takes time, mainly for 2 reasons: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li3\"><span class=\"s1\">the beard usually grows in a messy and uneven way in the various face areas, so it could take several months to see the first results;<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\"><span class=\"s1\">specific care and attention is required that we are going to discuss in detail.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">To grow strong and healthy the beard needs to be nourished and moisturized; besides, especially in the first weeks when hairs are harder and more stinging, we need to avoid itching and irritation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><b>So it is essential to use specific washing and finishing products.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_6874\" style=\"width: 677px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-6874\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6874\" src=\"https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/35IntwrnoBarba.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"667\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/35IntwrnoBarba.jpg 667w, https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/35IntwrnoBarba-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.anticabarbieriacolla.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/35IntwrnoBarba-600x900.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 667px) 100vw, 667px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-6874\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Beard Conditioner and Wax at Antica Barbieria Colla<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><i>To wash the beard<\/i>, we recommend the Darkwood Beard Shampoo and the Jojoba Oil Beard Conditioner. The first, especially created for facial hairs, contains magnesium which strengthens hairs, stimulates blood circulation and helps preventing itching; the latter, which has to be used after shampooing, left in and rinsed like the hair conditioner, nourishes beard hairs making them softer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\">We can keep the beard moisturized and soft also <i>when finishing it<\/i> by choosing the most suitable product based on its features; this will also help protecting the underlying skin. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"s1\"><i>When we have just started growing our beard <\/i>we can use the Bitter Orange Dry Beard Oil which is liquid and gets absorbed quickly even when the beard is a few millimeters long.
